Heat pumps are used extensively throughout the world as a cheaper alternative to oil and gas boilers but not here in the UK! This is probably because financial pay back has simply been too long. For this reason our main focus is to ensure the payback is between 3 and 5 years depending on the fossil fuel our heat pump replaces.

fortismoore has a complete supply and install service and we guarantee that our heat pumps generate the energy we say they do, we test our heat pumps output on site after installation.

The kWhs produced by our heat pumps cost around 1.25p per kWh on economy 7 and 2.5p on standard rate. This compares to gas at 4p and oil at 8p per kWh allowing for boiler inefficiencies.
